Last night, the two TV programs I watched

Both included scenes of death dealt to a teenager‑‑‑

In the first case, a lovely girl,

Not paying attention to her path

Because she was waving absorbedly from the saddle

At the paperboy riding his bike in the other direction

On the road bordering her trot,

Clunked her head on a big pine branch  

In the second case, a businessman,

Momentarily unattentive to his driving,

Hit a paperboy on a bike with his car  

This morning a lady called on my unlisted number

Asking if I wanted to receive the local paper

Because it would help the paperboy
