Last night I watched
A movie I'd taped called "Riddler's Moon"
It takes place in an Indiana farm town
Where for unknown reasons
For the past two years
No crops would grow
And any animals grazing the grass
Would sicken and die
A teenaged boy in a wheelchair
Has visions about one field
He sees a bountiful canola crop
And despite everyone's skepticism
This comes true
He also sees stone pillars
Bursting up from the ground
To tower overhead
Eventually the tops of the stones
Are actually uncovered in the field
The townspeople pitch in
And excavate around the stones
When they finish
Five stone pillars
Tower in a circle
There's an eclipse,
A ufo descends to a point
Just above the stones,
And then energy streams
Through the stones
And into the ship
The boy realizes that
This is a "pit stop"
The craft leaves
And the boy can now walk

Today I was thrilled to discover
A new calendar by Gilbert Williams
In a New Age shop in Idyllwild
One of the pictures,
Called "Power Stones,"
Depicts a sorceress
Standing in a field
Holding a sapling
Shooting beams of light
To the tops of
Five tall stone pillars
Arranged around her
