Excited to email a chemistry professor

Who'd written an article on the periodic table of elements

He'd discussed its history

And showed alternative arrangements

As well as the traditional one

Studying one recent alternative,

The pyramidal table,

I'd seen ways to improve it

My changes also produced

An improved version of

The traditonal table

A license plate

Caught my eye

As particularly apropos

CU N PB,

Which for most would mean "See you in Pacific Beach,"

Could also be seen as "copper, nitrogen, and lead"...
